Y&R spoilers for the week of August 1 reveal that Diane will face a new threat. Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) meet to discuss their plan. The women talk about how nobody can find any dirt on Diane when she was in Los Angeles. So, the new plan is to find dirt on Diane in Genoa City.
It is teased that Diane could face a new threat. This new threat could the plan for Phyllis to sabotage Diane’s new job at Marchetti.
Diane won’t be the only one dealing with conflict, though. During the week of August 1, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) loses his temper when Devon goes too far. Then, Nate sends a message to Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose). Meanwhile, Devon vents to Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan).

Meanwhile, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will have Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) focus on covering their tracks. However, Chance is already suspicious. It is teased that Chance will tell Kevin that Ashland’s case might be far more complicated than they initially thought.
It is also hinted that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) turns on the charm. Could this be Nick’s attempt to divert attention away from the Newman family?
