What have these writers done to once lovable rogue Billy Abbott. Played by Billy Miller he was complicated but lovable and devilishly charming. Now he has become a miserable obsessive loser. I was thrilled when it looked like finally he was going to get away from his depressing, self obsessed poor Billy stories. However my hopes for the new Billy were short lived. He now obsesses over Victoria and her husband, which is worse watching him ridiculously stick his nose in her life far beyond co parenting requirements. And the podcasts are just embarrassing and painful, turning Billy now into a pathetic old busy body who thinks he has the right to gossip about others private lives and relationships, how depressingly awful. I take no pleasure in despising this Billy more with every passing episode these days, a character I once really enjoyed watching. The old Billy as foolish as he was would have fans rooting for him this Billy is just a pathetic drag who can't mind his own business and definitely shouldn't be thinking he is in any position to be judging others, especially on podcasts. If I was the head writer I would send this Billy away for a while and then return Billy with his old better personality, who despite his failures could have us still enjoying him and hoping he would catch a break.
