The Young And The Restless Spoilers: What Does Ian Want Mariah To Do?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) has checked herself out of the clinic she was in and is in a shabby motel room where her only company is Ian Ward (Ray Wise) who may or may not be alive.

Fans saw Ian open his eyes in the ambulance after he was supposedly killed at Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) ranch some time ago.

Is Ian Alive or Dead?

So it’s sus that Mariah sees Ian at this time—is it a hallucination or the real deal? Furthermore, what in the world does Ian want her to do beyond leaving Tessa Copeland (Caitlin Fairbanks) and Baby Aria (Millie and Maddie Ingles)?

These are just two of the burning questions fans must ponder (or not). We see Mariah maybe once a month, which isn’t enough to be invested in whatever cockamamie she has going on that particular day of the week.

Ian Wants Something From Mariah

Last week we got another glimpse into her troubled mind when she had a convo with Ian and ended up ripping a picture of Tessa and Aria to shreds. Ian was pleased, fans not so much.

We are left with this question first and foremost: what is Ian imploring his former cultee to do? Based on the mention of a path, some fans believe he is referring to The Path, his former cult.

Does he want Mariah to resurrect a new iteration of the group?

If Ian is dead, then what we are seeing is Mariah’s mind leading her in a certain direction. If he is alive, could Ian be pulling the strings in real time?

Whatever the objective of this silly little plot is, the show is taking its time in telling us; maybe they don’t know either.

What we do know is that Tessa and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) are getting it on and moving forward in GC without Mariah.

If she comes back, and that’s an unknown at this point, will the calamity of her marriage going up in smoke jolt Mariah back to the real world?
