Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) met Patty when she was hospitalized at Fairview the same time, after suffering a miscarriage.
Ian subsequently abandoned Patty and she was found living on the street, and ultimately recommitted. The character’s last appearance was ten years ago, in 2016.
