The Young And The Restless Spoilers What Makes Nikki Slap Down Jack & Back Victor In His Vendetta?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers point to an audacious image: Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) throwing her loyalty to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and pushing Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to the curb. This would be quite a switch after Nikki threatened to leave Victor unless he treated Jack fairly.

Will Nikki Turn on Jabot?

Victor distracted Nikki with a blingy necklace at Christmas and now she’s dithering about Jack. While Nikki is still talking about talking Victor down from his scheming, Jack thinks it is pointless.

After all, after all these years, Nikki has never been able to change Victor’s mind about Jack and the Abbotts. When Victor sees an Abbott in the wild, he acts like a Rottie spying a fluffy bunny. His dislike of the Abbotts is instinctual.

There is a Super Twist Coming

Nonetheless, spoilers indicate that there could be a major rejiggering of hostilities in the New Year. While Nikki has been playing both sides of the fence, it may be time for her to pick a lane and stay in it.

Josh Griffith, Y&R’s head writer and executive producer, spilled a tidbit in an interview with TV Insider that we find intriguing.

According to Griffith, Nikki pledges allegiance to Victor, and in turn alters her relations with Jack and his wife, Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters).

Will Nikki Be the Spoiler Sport?

Griffith said: “There’s going to be massive, massive fallout for Jack and Diane off of some of Victor and Nikki’s actions to slap Jack down.”

That comes as a complete surprise after Nikki got all brave and issued her ultimatum to Victor. Could she really be so superficial that a gaudy piece of jewelry has more influence on her than her own conscience? What would make Nikki turn on her old friend—a matching gaudy bauble bracelet?

Is Jack Striken By Disloyalty?

Has it finally come to this—that Nikki is completely enraptured with Victor that she becomes his lap dog? Not even lawyer Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) is that craven.

Somehow Victor has found a way to change Nikki’s allegiance to Jack after all these years. Do we smell a trick in our midst?
