The Young And The Restless – Jack Abbott, Nick Newman, And Phyllis Summers All Think The Couple Is Rushing

Viewers will recall when watching the program over the last few episodes that all their parents think Summer and Kyle are rushing things. They don’t seem to have a problem with them moving in together or buying a house. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is even having the house built. He probably figures as long as the couple is just living together and there’s nothing legal on paper it’s hers should they break up.

No advice has been given by Nick, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) or Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) about any prenuptial agreements needing to be written. A prenuptial agreement would make things simpler if the couple were to marry and then broke up. It seems odd that a prenuptial agreement, a common document written up to say who gets what in case of divorce has not been mentioned.

Of course, the parents do not even want them to get married, since they are even having a problem with an engagement! That may be one reason that none of them are advising a prenuptial agreement. All of them want to know what the rush is, and Summer and Kyle are dancing around the subject! Summer in particular just wants to move forward because they’re in love!

Y&Y Spoilers – One Big Objection Is Kyle Abbott Still Being Married

One big objection of all three parents has been because Kyle is still married. Why anyone would make a difference between living together and be engaged is a mystery! However, in the most recent episode of The Young and The Restless, Kyle’s divorce came back finalized so that should no longer be an issue.

There is a good point to be taken, however, in questioning if Kyle has sufficiently moved on from Lola Rosales, (Sasha Calle). However, he divorced her because he realized he hadn’t moved on from Summer sufficiently so that might be a moot point!

Kyle’s being able to fully commit to Summer is a question in all the parents’ minds, even Jack’s because he cares about Summer. He even delivered her when Phyllis went into labor in a stuck elevator due to an ice storm! In addition, there was some question as to if Jack or Nick was her father because Phyllis had been involved with both of them during the same time period. Paternity tests showed Nick was her father. Nevertheless, Jack clearly thinks of Summer as a daughter. Kyle reminds him a little too much of himself at that age, so he takes some concern and doesn’t want Kyle to hurt Summer again.

Neither does Nick and Phyllis! However, the couple still wants to move forward quickly, more quickly than their parents are comfortable with! Considering Summer, especially, is rather evasive as to a reason why there may be a very good reason. Summer could be pregnant! Even though times and morals have changed, she may want their baby to have a stable home! In Summer’s mind, Kyle being her husband and not just her fiancé or live in may provide the stability their baby will need!

      Yes let Summer be pregnant and really flip lola out , Lola lost Kyle over her own controlling attitude, let Summer and Kyle stay together and remarry and have a baby

      Don't care these two have been redone too many times for it to be believable. This type of story may have worked in the 90's but come on this is not a realistic story for this decade!

      Tippy , you see Lola controlling attitudes but what about summer who wants know when kyle is going to see Lola, isn`t controlling ? Lola lost kyle because writers wants swap couple and it was based on story rewrite that was lie . Kyle never had summer in his heart or ever think about her , there no evidence on screen to show that he was thinking about her during his marriage to Lola. All fans saw epic pinning by summer everyday and trying to convince kyle they belong together and not other way around. Skyle bound fail they are very consistent at doing it. SKyle – Boring , overuse and loveless couple. All skyle has is lust.

      Thank you , The writers are writing stories that have lost of errors in it. One story that expose them was Kyle and Lola story rewrite ,there was no evidence on screen to support Kyle had summer in heart or was thinking about her at any point and time. Kyle was never pinning, dreaming , going out his way to see summer all time but it was summer who was pinning and trying to convince kyle they belong together. The whole rewrite was based on lie with no evidence on screen to support the writers claims. It was terrible written story just to give skyle a reunion. All they are doing for Kyle and summer is repeating what they did for Lola & Kyle ,the original was way better. There are many others.

      It just all smacked of the writers being worried that Lola was becoming more popular than Summer. So they cobbled together this silly, nonsensical, rush job of a story because just as you have said there was never any storyline running to indicate Summer was on Kyle's mind. To the contrary Kyle was done with Summer after Billy and all her other trashy antics. It was like Kyle had finally matured and realized he wanted a girl he could respect, love as an adult. I think that's what made the Kyle and Lola story so popular, it was believable, sweet and relatable. Let's face it most of us wouldn't believe a guy would give the time of day to a girl who so callously flaunted to her ex her lust for his uncle! If Summers love story with Kyle is unbelievable and unpopular with us fans they only have themselves to blame. I also wrote if they can't think of any new stories for us they should at least look back in the archives to to rehash stories we haven't seen in a while! These stories are like broken records, the return of the lost twin, Billy's vendetta with Adam, Victoria obsessing over being head of Newman and Victor always saying "don't cross me" to just about everyone. I'm no writer but I feel like saying do you want me to do your job for you and give you some fresh ideas? Ideas of stories that follows the characters history and actually make sense. I have seen many a fan on this hub make some fabulous suggestions for stories, so why can't the professional writers?

      We as fans are getting or should I say tired of these storyline between kyle and summer Lola and Theo the made a bad stupid mistake putting Kyle and Summer back together again what are they going to do when and if the pilot show she is in kicks off they made it look like Kyle was so in love with summer but that was not the way it was don to the viewer Kyle walked through fire and ice for Lola now we suppose to believe he is in love with summer no we don’t believe that and wish u guys would fix it

      Thank you , Many fans are not buying the Kola rewrite story because it was lie and I maintain and preach it to anyone. The lengths Kyle went through for Lola and he could have never get summer in his heart. The writers to fix the story some way or some how for fans. The actors , actress, script and what happen screen did not match or make sense in kola rewrite story. All fans saw was summer pinning and not kyle. when did he had her in his heart ? Mr Griffith we are educated people fix that Kola rewrite story. The more they lie the story gets hard to defend .
