The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Who Was Spying On Amanda and Billy – And Why?

The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate there’s someone spying on Amanda Sinclair (Mishel Morgan) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).

As Y&R fans saw, someone was spying on Amanda and Billy when they were in the dive bar. The person was never shown, but they were snapping photos of Amanda as she chatted with Billy.

So who was the mysterious person spying on the two?

The first and most likely suspect is Amanda’s ex Ripley Turner (Christian Keyes).

Amanda mentioned that her ex was a controlling person, and she also said that they both have restraining orders against each other. We know Amanda has been keeping track of someone, and odds are that person’s Ripley. Amanda seems afraid of her ex, and when someone called then hung up on her a few weeks ago, her fears increased.

Ripley is supposed to be showing up soon, so it’s possible he was the one taking pictures of Amanda in the bar. Could Ripley be in town to cause trouble for his ex?

Another suspect to consider is Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz). Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) hired him to keep track of Amanda. Devon has become obsessed with Amanda. Of course, there’s the resemblance to his late wife Hilary that’s gotten to him. But also Amanda may have been part of the scam with Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers), which caused Devon to lose his inheritance. Devon wants to expose Amanda for the fraud that she is, but could Chance’s search prove Devon wrong.

The next suspect to include on the list is Victor Newman (Eric Braden). Billy is married to Victor’s daughter Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). When she discovered that Billy was spending his time with Amanda and confiding in her, Victoria was furious. Victoria has been very open with her mother Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) about her marital problems. If word got back to Victor about this, he’d dig up anything he can to expose Billy and end Victoria’s marriage.

Upon hearing about Billy and Amanda, Victor could’ve hired a private investigator to follow Billy’s every move. Victor knows the more dirt he has on Billy, the greater the odds that Victoria will rise up and dump Billy.
