Y&R spoilers reveal that Summer told Kyle that she was taking the job in Milan, Italy. She told him it was for the best and she would be able to live her best life. She even added about noticing the connection between Kyle and Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner). Kyle is heartbroken and confused about the abrupt decision. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) hinted that Kyle might still have a chance. On the other side of the spectrum was Jack, who seemed to accept Summer’s decision much quicker and easier than expected.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Jack didn’t want Summer to leave. He adores her and was supportive of the “Skyle” wedding. However, he did mention on a few different occasions the stress and challenges of having two women in one’s life. Jack explained that from his experience, things can get quite messy and volatile. He urged Kyle to do whatever is necessary to make sure that Tara and Summer get along. He knows first-hand just how bad things can get.

Y&R Spoilers – Love Isn’t Enough

Jack has m mentioned recently that sometimes love just isn’t enough and his reaction to Summer’s exit makes sense. He knows that she was already having a difficult time dealing with Tara and Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) being added to the mix. If she’s having a hard time now, then just imagine how bad it will be a year from now.

However, the main reason Jack was grateful for Summer’s decision actually has nothing to do with her. It has everything to do with Kyle, though. Jack probably would have reacted and felt the same way no matter who Kyle was with.

Jack knows that Kyle was facing an uphill battle and the drama would just escalate. Kyle’s life would be full of stress, unnecessary drama, fighting and being forced to take sides. He might even have to break up a catfight once in a while. By Summer removing herself from the equation, Kyle only has to deal with one woman instead of two. Jack knows it will make Kyle’s life so much easier. Unfortunately, he has no idea of Tara’s true colors or her ultimate goal. When the truth comes out, that will be a whole other ball game.

      I agree with Jezz, their is more characters than just Kyle and Summer. They have had their love story, sometimes it was not meant to be. He could have had Lola and he threw that away. Just like Nick and Sharon {hope they can reunite one day}. These are the loving 2 couples on the show other than Victor and Nikki. They came back together, I am hoping for Nick and Sharon to come together again. They have the best chemistry of any couples. Love their kids but have lost faith in each other. Show us this could happen again. They still love each other you can tell by the way they look at each other. Plus run to each other when they are in doubt. Stop running from each other and come together again .

      Peter Bergman and his character Jack deserve a decent storyline of his own, perhaps involving his own love life. So tired of everything being about Michael and his character Kyle. Can't writers think of any other stories than who the boring Barbie Boy Doll is hooking up with. Writers so focused on one man are guilty of making viewers bored and frustrated with the character. Give some other guys some effort please, Jack, Nick, Devon, Nate all deserve some decent screen time too. Kyle's character is getting burned out at the expense of other better characters.
