The Young and the Restless spoilers show that Mishael Morgan (Amanda Sinclair) opted to go off contract for Y&R and is choosing to pursue other things in her career. She has already teased a new project on social media and it has a lot of fans looking forward to her future.

On the other hand, it also has us wondering what is going to happen to the Amanda Sinclair character is she is just recurring. Will she still have a big role to play, especially with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), or will she occasionally show up in Genoa City for big court cases and other things?
The Young And The Restless – Will They Recast Amanda Sinclair?
It is interesting to wonder about and not only if they will recast the character to someone who wants to be more frequent, but whether or not they should. On one hand, we would like to see Amanda more especially since her storylines were starting to get so good, but at the same time, do we really want to replace Mishael if she is still involved in some capacity?
I think it could leave the door open to her returning full-time in the future. Maybe she wants to go out and try a few other projects before coming back to the show, so she is keeping one foot in the door. At the same time, that sounds like a dangerous game to play and they could have someone else come in at a moment’s notice.

It feels like they set up an entire storyline around Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) cheating to facilitate her “leaving” Genoa City, but couldn’t they have found a different way to do so? Was this really the best way to go?
Now, we have an entire plotline revolving around Abby and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) ending their marriage while Abby begs him to stay. We all know if the roles were reversed that Abby would have been gone with their child immediately. But because she is the guilty one, she’s going to try to make things all better.
It seems ridiculous and I’m a bit bummed that Mishael will be gone more, but at the end of the day, I don’t think they will end up recasting her.
