The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Will Summer Get Kyle Back?

The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Summer Newman (Hunter King) is determined to fix things between her and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), even though the young man is clearly in love with Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle). And while Kyle has been sneaking out of work to be with Lola, he is feeling a little torn and if also not guilty over how he keeps on leaving Summer behind. Here’s what you need to know.

Kyle might love Lola with his heart, but he still lusts over Summer. Needless to say, he can’t have both women at the same time. Michael Mealor, who plays the hunky ex, told CBS Soaps in Depth, “Kyle loves Lola but there are times that he is also attracted to Summer. I think he is surprised by how well they work together. It’s great fun to play this conflict, this complexity that exists between Kyle and Summer.”

Of course, some of that conflict arises because of work, like when Kyle decides to skip a day to hang out with Lola. He also ditches a party that he and Summer had planned in order to woo Theo and Alexis over to Jabot. Lola expresses her concern over this, but Kyle dismisses her concerns.

And while Kyle is doing whatever he can to be with Lola, sooner or later his behavior is going to catch up with him. After all, Summer is the kind of person who always gets what she wants. She’s not just going to stand there and allow him to ditch her at every chance he gets to be with Lola.

As they say, he can’t have his cake and eat it, too. That’s why Summer is going to do whatever she can to lure Kyle back into her arms.
