The Young and The Restless Spoilers: Will Victor’s ‘Possible’ Intervention Make Things Worse For Nick And Victoria?

The Young and the Restless spoilers show that it absolutely looks like Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) had something to do with the missing Ashland Locke (Robert Newman). As we all know, Ashland was beginning to get a bit physical with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) wasn’t going to allow that to happen.

With one clean hook, Nick sent Ashland to the ground. However, Ashland’s head crashed into a fireplace, causing injury and blood to begin pouring out. Frightened and worried, Nick and Victoria immediately sought help and called the police. When they returned though, Ashland was gone. While we first assumed Ashland had come to and was able to take himself out of the house, more rumors point to Victor being behind it.

Of course, in typical Victor fashion, he’s playing coy and acting as though he had nothing to do with it. It makes sense though. Why wouldn’t Victor have security cameras around his home, and if he saw what had happened, he would not want his precious children involved in anything like that. Instead, he called his team in to hide the body and make it appear as though Ashland left town and won’t be coming back. I think we all know though… he’s probably buried in a shallow grave.

The Young and The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman Was Trying To Help His Children

While this looks like Victor was just trying to right by his children, he may have actually made things worse. Victoria and Nick went straight to the police, and if this comes full circle and they do find a dead Ashland, it will look very suspicious for the Newman children. The Newman’s have hidden their fair share of bodies, but Victor may be underestimating who exactly Ashland Locke is.

He’s not going to disappear quietly into the night with his larger-than-life persona. Someone will come asking questions, and let’s not forget, there’s still Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) in prison somewhere. The perfect set-up to have this storyline come back in a few decades.

I am concerned for Victoria and Nick though. What began as an accident and something they never meant to happen could come back and bite them, ultimately seeing them locked behind bars because their arrogant father thinks he can get away with anything.
