Michael Muhney Stars In “Sidepiece”
Michael Muhney stars in a short film, or “short” called “Sidepiece”. It is a movie that focuses on nothing as it appears to be. The movie’s tagline is “Dating is hard. Especially when you’re married.” It sounds like a lot of scenarios played out in soap operas!
The film was written by Teddy Tenenbaum of “Ghost Whisperer” fame, and also stars Jenness Rouse of “Becca On Call” and Minsun Park of “You Too”. In the trailer, Michael sits on a park bench tapping away with a pair of drumsticks. He plays Collin, who meets with Lucy, played by Jenness Rouse and it appears to be their first meeting. However, they hug each other awkwardly and even more, awkwardness follows!
Lucy Has A Pointed Question For Collin
Lucy then asks Collin if he has ever done “this” before. Collin continues, thinking she is talking about using a dating app. She then clarifies, asking him if he had ever cheated on his wife before. Collin is uncomfortable and admits it is his first time, and Lucy says it’s her first time too. They begin to kiss, but then they are interrupted by Julie (Minsun Park). She is thrilled that Lucy is out on a date and she is her sister-in-law. Collin is confused!

“Sidepiece” has its own Facebook page, and on it, they recently announced that they won the Merit Award. They also shared this with their readers: “Thank you, Canada Shorts – Canadian & International Short Film Festival, for honoring Sidepiece with the Award of Merit! And thanks for the pretty laurel.” Their official Facebook page shows all the venues and film festivals where the movie short will be showing, including Los Angeles, Miami, and even in Australia! It may be headed to a town near you soon.
Michael Muhney Fans Are Excited To See Him Again
Michael’s fans are excited to see him again and have been posting on their own official social media sites. The latest for fans who live in the area of Culver City, California is “Michael is fantastic in the short. We think you’ll really love his performance. We’ll post the time and date when we get it!” Michael himself feels good about the opportunity, as he has had a hard time in life since being let go as Adam Newman; he even contemplated suicide. He is now leaving that time of desperation behind and moving forward with his career comeback. Fans should make sure to communicate plenty of support.
