The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Y&R Star Jordi Vilasuso Reveals That He Is Missing His Onscreen Family

CBS The Young and the Restless (Y&R) Spoilers hint that Jordi may be ready to go back on set and join his on-screen family. Jordi may be missing his on-screen family during this lockdown. As viewers know, Jordi Vilasuso plays Rey Rosales on the daytime soap, The Young and the Restless. Entering town not long after his brother and sister did and joined on as a detective.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers – Jordi Vilasuso Talks About Past Storyline

When Jordi first joined the scene, it was after his brother, Arturo (Jason Canela) first joined the show. Once Rey came on the scene viewers learned about the love triangle that had taken place between Rey’s wife, Mia (Noemi Gonazlez), and brother Arturo. This love triangle would continue as Arturo got Mia pregnant. The two were later written out of the show as leaving after the truth came out.

In a recent interview with TV Insider, he talked about the screen-time that he had during this storyline. “You always want more time. We had maybe five months working together. I felt so connected to both Noemi and Jason. I know a lot of people have their opinions about how [quickly] Mia was introduced, which I completely understand. But I loved the story. I know how connected I was to Jason and Noemi. It was bittersweet.”

He went on to talk about how he felt when the other members of his onscreen family left the show. “I respect what Josh (head writer/co-executive producer) and Tony (executive producer) put together. They put a bow on it. One of the saving graces is I still have Sasha (who plays Lola Calle) as my sister. She’s part of my family. I check in with her once a week.”

Although the two do not work together anymore, Jordi and Jason have kept in touch with each other. “That’s my ‘brother from another mother. I love that kid. He’s going to do some great stuff. I’m grateful to have met him.”

He went on to talk about the first time he met Jason, “When I went in to read for the role the first time, he walked in and talked to the [Y&R] casting director… she introduced me to him.
