The Young And The Restless Stacy Haiduk Hints At Patty’s Unfinished Business In Genoa City

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest that fans have been buzzing online since Stacy Haiduk reprised the role of deranged lunatic, Patty Williams, during the Friday, March 6 episode. The actress recently caught up with Soap Opera Digest (SOD) to talk about Patty’s return to Genoa City.

Patty Williams Will Not Be Boring

During her SOD interview, Haiduk revealed that Patty has unfinished business that she needs to handle in GC, and “… who knows who she’s going to run into, right? It’s not going to be boring.”

The online mag then asked if she’s going to run into Diane Abbott (Susan Walters), a former foe of Patty’s, which is when the actress notes, “I think that could be very intriguing to Patty.”

While it’s been a hot minute since both Patty and Diane have been on the canvas together, they are long-time rivals, especially when it comes to vying for Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) heart.

Of course, Diane scored this prize years ago, after evolving into a better person. Jack fell in love with her all over again, and the two have since been (somewhat) happily married.

Has Patty claimed she’s a better person to see if her “transformation” could do the same? Is Patty’s ultimate goal to win back Jack? Is that even a possibility?

Patty’s Done Some Awful Things

From shooting Jack to also shooting Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Patty is also the reason Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) lost her one and only daughter, Colleen Carlton (Tammin Sursok).

Patty also kissed a much younger Summer Newman (last played by Allison Lanier) when she was a child, with a splash of peanut butter to trigger an allergic reaction!

Little ‘Supergirl’ had a major medical crisis where she needed to relearn just about everything, and her recovery was long and brutal; Summer almost lost her life.

Assuming Patty will return to GC, she won’t get a hero’s welcome … even if she does save Jack’s life! So, it’ll be interesting to see how she deals with the backlash back home, and what she does after she and Jack get off that yacht!
