Alyvia Alyn Lind has been playing Faith Newman on The Young and the Restless since 2011. She also played a 9-year-old Dolly Parton in the made-for-television film, Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors. She also made her feature film debut in the 2013 hit, Dark Side.
Acting happens to be in Alyvia’s blood. Her mother, Barbara Alyn Woods is also an actress while her father John Lind is a producer. It’s also a family affair as her two older sisters, Natalie Alyn Lind and Emily Alyn Lind are also actresses.
Fortunately, fans will be seeing much more of Alyvia in the future. Reports indicate that she recently joined the cast of the MGM/Pantelion film, Overboard. The comedic film will star Anna Faris, a single mom who convinces her boyfriend’s wealthy parents that they are married. Alyvia will play Olivia, Kate’s outspoken middle daughter. She’s also someone who isn’t afraid to stand up for herself. With a new film in the pipeline, there’s no doubt that Alyvia’s future is very bright in Hollywood.
