The Young and the Restless fans were horrified after Lucas Adams reached out for help on social media. The soap star revealed tragedy had struck his family and his sister Audrie had just been in a horrible car accident, thanks to a drunk driver. Lucas Adams just joined the cast of The Young and the Restless as Noah Newman, his first episode aired on CBS on November 4, 2025. If you don’t follow the Y&R cast, you probably will recognize Lucas from Days of Our Lives.
Lucas Adams Shares Scary Drunk Driving Accident On Social Media
The new Noah portrayer used to play the part of Tripp Dalton in Salem, he appeared on the NBC soap from 2017-2024 and was involved in several major storylines. He also moved with the soap when it left its daytime slot on NBC and moved to the streaming network Peacock.
Today Lucas took to social media and shared scary photos from a car accident, the actor revealed “My sister was hit head-on by a drunk driver over the weekend.
Thankfully she is going to be OK but has a long road ahead of her as her hip and foot were broken.” Lucas added that Audrie and her husband have EIGHT kids and “could use all the help they can get to get through this.”

Y&R Star Sets Fundraisers Straight
The new Noah Newman portrayer also shared screenshots of a Venmo account and encouraged fans that wanted to help out to make a donation on that page.
Apparently, some scammers have already tried to take advantage of his family’s tragic situation and Lucas clarified which online fundraiser was legit.
