The Young and the Restless Star Brytni Sarpy Explains Why She Drags Bryton James To Yoga Class

Brytni Sarpy, who plays Elena Dawson on “The Young and the Restless,” loves yoga and wants others to try it out as it is a truly great form of exercise. She even revealed that she tried to bring Bryton James, who portrays Devon Hamilton on the sudser, to a class or two.

The actress admitted that she tried to get him to join her gym but he’s a basketball fan and loves to play the game.

“But yoga is one of the best exercises anybody can do, because it works out your entire body, your mind, and your breath. It really helps in anything you do. It basically evens you out and balances your body and your breathing,” explained Sarpy.

“Because it gives you better lung support, you have a better presence on stage in front of the camera and fires the synapsis in your brain. It makes you quicker in everything!” she continued.

Sarpy’s Career

Before appearing on the smalls screen, Sarpy joined the theatre first. She was part of several main stage and local productions, both in drama and comedy. She’s a great dancer and also appeared in commercial and print ads for companies like Nike, Yahoo!, AT&T, New Balance, and more.

She auditioned for “Days of Our Lives” and “General Hospital” as Taylor DuBois and Jordan Ashford, respectively, but didn’t get the parts. She was eventually hired to portray Valerie Spencer on “General Hospital” in 2015. She hosted the reality series “The Pitch Room” and appeared on “Truth or Dare” alongside Heather Langenkamp. She joined “The Young and the Restless” as Elena Dawson in February 2019 and has a recurring role on “The Haves and the Have Nots.”

The Young and The Restless Spoilers: Will Ripley Return After Stabbing Victoria?

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers hint that viewers have not seen the last of Ripley Turner (Christian Keyes), who stabbed Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). He may be on the run now but it seems like he’s not done yet.

Keyes wasn’t included in Soap Opera Digest’s list of actors, Meg Bennett (Julia Martin) and Robert Parucha (Matt Miller) who’s leaving “The Young and The Restless.” It appears like the sudser isn’t done with Ripley yet. Maybe viewers will see him get apprehended or perhaps he’ll get what’s due for him.
