The Young and the Restless Star Eric Braeden Struggles To Say Good-Bye

Victor Newman might be one very ruthless character on The Young and the Restless but his portrayer, Eric Braeden, is anything but that! In fact, the actor couldn’t help but show his fans his softer side in a new photo that he posted of him and his grandchildren. This is something that you’ve got to see!

In the photo, it appears as though Eric is saying good-bye to his two beautiful granddaughters. He spent the last few weeks visiting with his family but now it’s time for Victor and his co-stars to head back to Los Angeles to film new episodes of The Young and the Restless. But clearly, Victor doesn’t want to let go. He captioned the photo with, “Saying good-bye is always tough!”

And it looks like Eric’s fans and followers definitely agree. Quite a few of them commented on the pic with, “I hate saying goodbye when my granddaughter leaves just to go across town to her home. It’s a grandparent thing, isn’t it?” along with, “Aww! The youngest is hoping on to Opa real tight. You are their hero.”

The Young and The Restless – Eric Braeden Loves His Family

When Eric revealed that his son and his family now live in Atlanta, Georgia another fan replied with, “Oh that must be hard for all of you. A lot of movies are filmed there. One thing that you will be here on the east coast and maybe a meet and greet in the future. And you can come to see the Atlanta Falcons.”

Eric also shared several more photos of him reading a book to one granddaughter and drawing with crayons with the older one. It’s without a doubt that Eric Braeden loves his family and his grandchildren very much but at the same time, he’s got a job to do. After all, Genoa City can’t be without Victor Newman. He is the rock of the Newman family!

Now, as far as what’s in store for Victor it looks like it’s going to be a battle between his two sons, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). You will have to tune in for all of the action!
