Serious Silly Wedding Moment
Thompson reveals to TV Guide that “there’s something pretty serious that goes down with Jill, and it throws everything into the blender in that moment.”
In fact, Thompson also notes, Sally and Billy’s wedding episodes will “change the trajectory of the story” for the couple and the effects of it all “are quite large; things that we could play for the next 10, 20 years, frankly.”
Now, this could be read in a drama-filled way, but it could also be a good thing? Could Billy and Jill finally make amends?
Everyone knows how good Sally is for Billy, and Jill is expecting another grandchild on the way … so could the “ripple effect” be something positive? Only time will tell.

Mom-Son Tumultuous History
The Young and the Restless spoilers remind fans that Billy was hesitant to invite Jill to the wedding, despite Sally’s insistence.
In fact, it took a visit from his older (and wiser) sister, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), to convince him to extend an invitation to his dear old mom, as he might end up regretting it if something were to happen to her.
After all, Traci knows a thing or two about toxic mom relationships, and she reminded him of her own experience with Dina Abbott Mergeron (Marla Adams).
Jill recently visited Genoa City to make amends with Billy; however, it was hard for the man to let go of his anger toward his mom.
