The Young and the Restless Weekly Preview: Marchetti Invasion, Ashland’s Police Diversion

The Young and the Restless Weekly Preview: Marchetti Invasion, Ashland's Police DiversionThe Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that the preview for the week of July 25 has been released. In the video clip, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) gets a call regarding an accident. Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) gets ready to kill Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Plus, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) wants a job at the new Marchetti.

Marchetti Invasion

Y&R spoilers for the week of July 25 reveal that Phyllis puts her new plan in motion. Phyllis already spoke to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) about Chancellor-Winters offering to buy the Grand Phoenix. Next on Phyllis’ list is to get into the new Marchetti. Phyllis talks to Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) about getting a job at the company.

Fans might recall that at one time, Summer offered Phyllis a job at Marchetti. However, now Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is working at the company. Summer asks her mother what exactly her intentions are for suddenly wanting the job.

Y&R Spoilers: Accident Call

The weekly preview clip also shows Chance getting a phone call regarding an accident. Chance asks if there is anyone hurt. With Ashland already in Victoria’s house, we have to wonder if this accident is a phony call to create a diversion.

If all the police officers and detectives are on the other side of Genoa City looking for a non-existent accident, then it will take longer to get to Victoria. Ashland either called in the phony accident to 911 or had his henchman do it. If the claim is that it’s a multi-car accident with multiple injuries, nearly every officer and detective would be headed in that direction.

Ashland Locke’s Death Threat

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Victoria realizes she is in serious danger. Ashland has completely lost his mind and has nothing left to lose. Victoria says that security will keep calling every 15 minutes and if she doesn’t answer, then the police will arrive.

Ashland doesn’t seem concerned. Ashland tells Victoria that they better “do this quickly.” It certainly sounds like Ashland plans to kill Victoria rather than kidnap her.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Nick Newman’s Heroism

Even though Ashland and Victoria are about to have a deadly confrontation, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will save the day. When Victoria doesn’t answer her door, Nick gets a bad feeling in the pit of his stomach. That’s when Nick decides to sneak in the back door. However, will Nick be able to save Victoria before it’s too late?

  1. Loopy says

I know everybody hates Ashland but I don’t. I feel sorry for him. I believe what he says to Victoria about becoming a better person. He’s no worse than Victor for heaven’s sake. I really liked when he and Victoria were happy together. She hasn’t had anyone really since Billy and he’s worse than Ashland also. This podcast thing he’s got going on will become boring and he’ll get out of that also. He and Chelsey are a bad combination. When they joined up with Lauren I wondered how long that would last. It lasted about as long as I thought it would. Chelsey is a pariah.
