This week everyone in Genoa City gathers to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Newman Enterprises. It’s also a celebration for its founder Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) planned the gala as a surprise for her husband. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), also have a special gift for their father.

Aside from the rest of the Newman clan, the party will also have Victor’s longtime nemesis Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Despite their differences over the years, the two men respect each other when it comes to business.

The party will also see the return of Victor’s ex Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), and his grandson Noah Newman (Robert Adamson).

The gala will be a huge moment as characters and viewers take a walk down memory lane as they reflect on Victor’s legacy.

While Nikki wants this night to be special for Victor, it’s going to have some chaos during the night.

Odds are it could be Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). Adam and the rest of the Newman family have been at odds over the past year. Plus, his reunion with Chelsea came at his brother Nick’s expense. Nikki, Nick, and Victoria won’t be pleased to see them, while Victor will welcome them to the party.

Another possible party crashed could be Victoria’s ex, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), whose reckless behavior split them up. Billy could create a scene as he confronts Victor about spreading lies about him and Amanda Sinclair (Mishel Morgan).

Another person would crash the event is Phyllis, who is up to no good.

Last week Phyllis finally discovered Adam and Chance Chancellor’s (Donny Boaz) secret about Las Vegas. She learned that Adam killed a man and now she’s going to use that information for her benefit.

Adam fears to go to jail if the truth is exposed and Phyllis will use that to her advantage. Phyllis blackmails Chelsea into giving up her shares of The Grand Phoenix in order to corporate.

Upon learning about Adam’s secret and wanting to protect him, Chelsea will give in to Phyllis’ request.

While Phyllis thinks she’s smart using the Vegas secret to get what she wants, it could come back to haunt her big time.

Abby is going to be furious that Phyllis is blackmailed to worm her way back into the ownership of the hotel.

Also, Nick is going to be upset with Phyllis for reverting back to her old ways after she said she was changing her life.
