While Claire did put vodka in Nikki’s IV, the truth about the young woman is starting to come out. It’s a warped and twisted nightmare of a story, but one that has fans glued to their seats.

Jordan is still on the loose and hasn’t forgotten about getting her revenge. Meanwhile, Claire has been arrested and is in an Oregon jail cell awaiting arraignment.

Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) has agreed to take Claire’s case. It seems that Claire truly is remorseful and really might be a victim of long-term brainwashing.

After all, Jordan pushed Claire to lure Nikki into the trap first. If Claire truly wanted to punish her parents for abandoning her, then she would have targeted Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) or Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck).

Instead, much of the torture was directed at Nikki. Fans also should remember that Claire confronted Jordan about lying about the plan. Jordan promised Claire that nobody would get hurt physically, just emotionally (as if that is so much better).

So, it is very possible that Claire can be redeemed. Jordan… not so much, but we are loving the heart-thumping scenes!

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Jordan continues to play games with Nikki. While Claire rots in jail without a second thought, Jordan is flipping through a photo album thinking about how to make the Newman family pay.

Jordan has already called Nikki and said nothing while old stripper music plays. This really jolted Nikki and there might be a bigger reason than what fans think.

Then, Jordan sent Nikki a haunting text message. It included a picture of a drunk Nikki, which pushed the matriarch to give into temptation again. That is exactly what Jordan wants.

Y&R Spoilers – Loss & Suffrage

It seems that Jordan has already gotten Nikki to start drinking again. Since Nikki wasn’t honest with her family and is keeping this big secret, it will just make her story sound less believable… even to her closest loved ones.

It started with “hearing music through the phone” and now scandalous text messages. Nikki is already starting to sound quite unstable to those around here, including Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver)!

Of course, Jordan needs to slow-burn her gaslighting or it will quickly backfire. The Newmans are on guard right now. After a few weeks or months pass, though, Nikki will run out of excuses to explain her secret drinking.

If Nikki continues claiming she’s hearing music through the phone, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and her kids might not believe her. That is probably exactly what Jordan is counting on, to make Nikki lose everything one by one.

First her sobriety, then her reputation, eventually her career, husband, and children. Of course, in soaps, good always wins over evil. So, how will Nikki fight an enemy she can’t see?
