A show rep had previously announced: “Y&R original cast member, Janice Lynde is making a return visit to the show when she reprises her role as world renowned pianist, Leslie Brooks. Lynde last appeared on Y&R in 2018 for the show’s 45th anniversary. Lynde will appear in multiple episodes in mid-October.”

Fans saw Leslie interact with several daytime legends as she took in the wedding festivities. The Brooks family kicked off the show’s debut and notably Leslie was involved with Lance Prentiss a character played by John McCook. McCook now appears on Y&R’s sister show The Bold and the Beautiful as fashion mogul Eric Forrester.

The week of October 25, 2021 brings welcome news about Melissa Claire Egan. She is on set taping scenes as Chelsea Lawson and we can’t wait to see her back in action. She had been out on maternity leave.

She shared the good news on Instagram with a photo of herself in character: “Chelsea’s missed you all! Excited to be back in Genoa City soon,” Egan captioned. Chelsea had been seen on video calls while she was on leave.
