Y&R Spoilers: Adam Newman And Phyllis Summers Agree To Work Together
Phyllis’ choice to work with, or for (depending upon one’s perspective) Adam makes her even more of a pariah than she already is in Genoa City. No matter, the character Tognoni has played since the fall of 2014, is determined to be vindictive.
She was easily swayed by Adam’s pitch. A million dollars in exchange for her hack of Dark Horse’s information. Yes, that could result in jail time. But Adam probably won’t be the one to serve it. No, that would be Phyllis, assuming she’s eventually caught, charged, and convicted.
Young And The Restless Spoilers: Phillis Summers Unaware Of Where The Legal Blame Will Lie
Phyllis seems unaware of the fact that Adam’s verbal request places whatever legal blame might follow squarely on her shoulders. He’s obviously not offering a contract for said dishonest services, but simply hopes she renders them. If his contractor is caught at a later point, so be it.
Adam’s goal is to use Phyllis’ current frazzled state to his advantage. He wants his second-born son and isn’t listening to dear old dad’s advice about taking it slow. Christian Newman (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) will be under his control sooner, rather than later.
Phyllis has only recently gone off course. Sure, her initial dalliance with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) hit Jack hard. But ‘Philly’ didn’t happen out of vengeance. Instead, she was hurt by her then-husband’s refusal to defend her honor regarding the Marco Anaselli (Peter Bergman in a dual role) horror Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) imposed upon ‘Phack’
Y&R Spoilers: Phyllis Summers Acting Out Of Rage
Now, a number of years later, Phyllis is acting out of rage. She believes that some people have abandoned her, which is true, but only due to her actions, while others have betrayed her, which isn’t the case.
With Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea Newman, being her most recently known last name) soon set to be seen in Genoa City, Adam is lashing out himself. His wife is claiming to be remarried and allowed this other, unnamed man to adopt his first-born son, Connor Newman (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois).
The potential of ‘Phadam’ forming is now also open for consideration. No matter how outrageous that romantic pairing would be, it can no longer be written off as impossible by devoted Y&R viewers. Maybe more than feed off each other, Adam and Phyllis become more than business partners.
