According to Y&R head writer and Co-Executive Producer Josh Griffith, he says that it’s going to be one rollercoaster ride again for Adam as he tries to make sense of his life, while Chelsea finds herself in a new place, but with an old dilemma. Here’s what you need to know.

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Griffith teases what’s ahead for the wayward Newman son and the always problematic Chelsea. He offers, “Adam is on an emotional roller coaster and Victor Newman [Eric Braeden] will go to great lengths to help him. Victor’s attempts will be met with resistance from the rest of the family, and major interference from Victoria Newman [Amelia Heinle].”

For anyone who has been paying attention these last few years, Victoria remains as jealous as ever of the Newman prodigal son. Luckily, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will do what she can to keep her peace as she loses her patience with the havoc Adam has caused for her family. And just to think, his work is not even done yet. It might be some time before Adam even turned the tide.
