Victor tells Chelsea if she confesses to poisoning Rey, then he won’t take custody of Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). On the surface, it’s a pretty good deal. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will be cleared and can go back to his normal life. Chelsea and Chloe won’t have to look over their shoulders wondering when and how Victor will strike. Due to Chelsea’s stroke and brain trauma, as well as turning herself in, she will probably get a pretty good deal. Heck, Victor might even provide her with a lawyer that can get her no prison time. Connor won’t have to be separated from his mother any longer and not suffer because of Chelsea’s mistakes.

While Connor is everything to Chelsea and losing custody terrifies her, it sounds like she will turn down the offer.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Egan talked to Soap Opera Digest about Victor’s new threat. When he tells her to confess or she’ll lose Connor, it strikes fear in Chelsea’s heart. Losing custody of Connor is her worst nightmare and she knows that Victor is a powerful man. However, the actress also teased that the custody threat sparks an entirely new spiral in Chelsea.

“Now, it’s a whole new ballgame and Chelsea’s worst fear. All of those other threats she can handle, but this one really makes her concerned because Connor is her world. Victor is a very powerful man, but his latest threat leads to a new spiral for Chelsea.”

It almost sounds like, despite the risk of losing Connor, Chelsea won’t allow Victor and Adam to win. Now, if the offer is rejected and Victor takes the custody battle to court, then that might make Chelsea stubborn and foolish.
