The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Amanda Sinclair Focused On Family, Not Romance

For the moment, Amanda has naturally shifted her entire focus to her just discovered birth mother, Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey). The private investigator’s intel proved out, with Amanda’s apparent biological mom living in an upper class section in a suburb of Illinois.

It was devastating to see Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) arriving at Naya’s front door at Christmastime. Amanda departed Devon’s car and was walking to Naya’s house, with hopes of learning why she gave Hilary to family and put her (Amanda) in the foster care system, when Imani appeared. That shook Amanda to her core, reinforcing her abandonment as a baby.

Devon truly looks like he’s done with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy). What they had seemed like it would last forever, with marriage a likelihood in 2021.

But Elena’s betrayal with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), of all people and Devon’s cousin no less, was the end. Devon has no interest in reconciliation, which is partially why he’s become increasingly invested in Amanda’s developing backstory.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Demanda Makes Sense For Many Reasons

Y&R has presented a believable path from when Amanda was first introduced in 2019 until now. Identical twins do exist in real life and while most of them weren’t separated at birth, the manner in which this arc has been written is digestible.

Both actors are good fits in building off the great work they produced as Hevon. Now, employing the sister storyline, with included birth mother and possible half-sister angle, Amanda is naturally relying on her brother-in-law for support. With those storyline building blocks in place, a Demanda coupling can happen by spring, if not before.
