The Young And The Restless (Y&R) Spoilers Friday, February 5: Rey Busts Adam & Sharon – Kyle Has A Son – Sally Gets A Promotion

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, February 5, tease that in Genoa City, Wisconsin Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will be working with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) at Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) penthouse. When things aren’t working with Chelsea, Adam will suggest that Sharon try a more confrontational approach.

As it will turn out, the confrontational approach won’t work, either. As Adam walks Sharon out, Chelsea will imagine them kissing passionately, and she’ll move her hand slightly. Meanwhile, in the hallway, Adam will lament that he’s responsible for Chelsea’s condition because he cut the power to the Chancellor Communications building. Sharon won’t think Adam’s to blame.

Next on Y&R, Chelsea will vow to herself not to give up so she won’t lose Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). Adam will suddenly get an idea and call Sharon, then he’ll go to Sharon’s house to talk. Adam will tell Sharon that he wants to bring Connor home from boarding school to jump start Chelsea’s progress.

Sharon won’t think that’s a good idea, and Adam will realize that it could have detrimental effects on Chelsea and Connor. Adam will thank Sharon, and as they join hands and Adam says that he doesn’t know what he’d do without her, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will walk in. Meanwhile, over at the penthouse, Chelsea will move her hand slightly again.

Y&R Spoilers – Theo Vanderway Promises Big News

Next on Y&R, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will be working at Jabot when Kyle learns that Jack spent the evening of the ice storm with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Kyle won’t like the sound of that, but Jack will insist that they’ve all made mistakes and that Sally deserves a second chance.

Over at Crimson Lights, Sally will get a call from Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) saying that he’s in Chicago and that he’s got some newfound dirt on Kyle that might help Sally. Theo will say that he’ll drive into Genoa City soon.

Later, Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will arrive at the coffeehouse with great news – she’s promoting Sally to Junior Director Of Internet Marketing at Fenmore’s. Summer Newman (Hunter King) will arrive and hear the news, and she’ll make a special point to tell Sally that the Spencers will be coming to Genoa City for a meeting. Sally will be less than pleased.

Lauren will go to the patio where Gloria Abbott (Judith Chapman) will be urging Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) to help her get a gig at Fenmore’s with Lauren. Michael will point out Gloria’s bad track record, and Lauren will soon join them. Gloria will ask a flabbergasted Lauren when she can start.

Next on Y&R, Sally will tell Jack about her promotion over at Jabot. Jack will insist on taking Sally out for a celebration lunch. Meanwhile, Summer and Kyle will discuss Sally’s promotion over drinks at the Grand Phoenix. Summer will complain to Kyle about Sally, and Kyle will urge Summer to focus on JCV and let Sally be.

As Sally and Jack are having lunch at Society, Sally will wonder why Jack is single. Jack will say that Sally hasn’t been in Genoa City long enough to know his romantic history, and that this he’s just in a down time. Just then, Theo will text Sally asking her to meet at Crimson Lights, and Sally will bolt.

Finally, on Friday’s new episode of Y&R, Theo will tell Sally that he and Kyle spent some of their New York days in the Hamptons, and that Kyle had an affair with an older married woman who happened to be the wife of a ruthless business mogul named Ashland Locke. Theo will muse that this was four years ago, and now the woman has a three-year-old son named Harrison Locke.
