The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that in Genoa City, Wisconsin Gloria Bardwell (Judith Chapman) is looking for something and she may just find more than she bargained for!

There is never a dull moment with Glo and while she has her eccentricities she is loyal to those she loves and that trait could come in handy now that there is a new schemer in town.

Y&R viewers saw her ex Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) welcome Gloria in from the cold and she was kind enough to give him her condolences on his mom Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) passing.

He is savvy enough to realize that that can’t be the only reason she is there—there is always an ulterior motive with her. Soon enough the real topic comes up and she wonders if she can wrangle a job from him once again.

He reminds her of a past fiasco in which she was behind a tainted product but Gloria is dogged and determined to squeeze something out of him.

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Gloria Bardwell Needs a Job

But you can’t squeeze blood from a turnip and Jack lets her know that there is nothing available for her to slip into. Undeterred, she tells him to keep thinking and actually says, “You know how much I have to offer.”

Later Gloria joins Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Gloria lets the two know how protective she is of Jack, which literally screams, handwriting on the wall time, that she is going to save his bacon at some point. That’s just how soaps work!

Gloria does her song and dance on Lauren and says they should spend more time together—how about giving her a job? Lauren should be on to her mother-in-law’s shenanigans by now but she seems genuinely gobsmacked.

The Young and the Restless spoilers: What Happens Next in Genoa City?

Lauren manages to say she has no openings but Gloria is not pleased. Obviously, Gloria is going to end up somewhere and all of her interactions with Jack and Sally, aka Phyllis 2.0, have us thinking that she will eventually bust Sally and her unlawful past.

For some reason, Summer Newman (Hunter King) is reluctant to use her ammo against Sally, which is detrimental to Jack. Will Gloria step up and save the day? She has before!
