The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Halloween Trick Being Played – J.T. Story Nearing End

The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Halloween Trick Being Played - J.T. Story Nearing EndHalloween arrives less than two weeks from now on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Among various possible suspects, someone appears to be playing a trick within the J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) storyline.

An unknown individual (or possibly more than one person) is spooking the coverup crew. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) shrugged off whoever is attempting to blackmail her, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), Sharon (Sharon Case), and Vickie (Amelia Heinle).

Nikki’s one dollar electronic transfer is sure to create a response from this potential shakedown artist. Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) is primed as that person, as she may have overheard the four-lady contingent speaking during one of their so-called charity sessions at Crimson Lights. Miss Porter supposedly needs twenty-thousand dollars to pay off coyotes who helped her to smuggle Crystal (Morgan Obenreder) across the United States border and into Canada.

Possibly Andrew (Coby Ryan McGlaughlin) knows something? It’s reasonable to believe that his connection to Phyllis, which dates back to New York in the early 1990’s when Michelle Stafford first embodied this character, somehow links him to the anonymous, typed threats that she, Nikki, Vickie, and Sharon received.

However, Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) is also very crafty. Detective Rosales could be playing a hunch and has purposely sent the same message to the quartet that was involved in covering up J.T.’s accidental death and unlawful burial in Chancellor Park.

Rey’s lie about working for a collection agency didn’t cross the legality line. But a request for money would seem to be against the book, if not nearing entrapment, which then leads viewers to reconsider Tessa’s claimed need for dough, or Andrew’s greed.

Whoever is playing a Halloween trick on the coverup crew must believe that either an eventual payoff (implying Tessa, or Andrew), or a collective admission of guilt (assuming it’s Rey) will result. But the identity of this trickster hasn’t yet been revealed to the audience.

As the J.T. storyline seems to be reaching its end, Halloween decorations must also appear as signs of celebration during the fall season. Possibly the mask of whoever has remained disguised will also drop so Y&R’s fans will be able to solve this part of the mystery.
