The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Hevon Remarriage Happens – Devon Enters Pre-Grief Process

The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Hevon Remarriage Happens – Devon Enters Pre-Grief ProcessA wedding is normally a time for happiness on ‘The Young and the Restless’. A remarriage falls into the same upbeat category. But ‘Hevon’s’ awaited sequel is playing out under awful circumstances.

Bittersweet isn’t the right word to use. Instead, heartbroken is most appropriate considering these sad circumstances. Devon (Bryton James) has begun the pre-grief process by first accepting that the woman he loves more than any other is about to die.

Hilary (Mishael Morgan) didn’t know, at first. She became suspicious when no prognosis was offered and many of her visitors changed the subject regarding her potential release date.

The pending death of this character would have been rightfully swatted back if projected earlier this year. But Morgan’s recent social media announcement prepared fans for what’s happening now. While a recast would allow the miraculous recovery Devon is praying for, there is no real news about Y&R taking that tack.

‘Hevon’ was primed for their best era prior to this climax. The first go-round was well-documented, including the Neil (Kristoff St. John)-to-Devon switch and last year’s ‘Hevon’ Part I amicable ending.

The above, compressed paragraph’s review established what seemed to be months-worth of future bliss. Hilary was going to deliver a baby that she and Devon would adore. The expansion of their family was naturally leading to countless fresh scenarios that would have allowed ‘Hevon’ to explore new storyline territory. But instead Hilary is hours, or days away from dying. Gosh.

Fans are aware that Morgan’s second pregnancy is proceeding nicely. They are regretful that she’s opted to leave the show, while at the same time valuing her investment in family. Plus, soap fans know that the magic of this genre can allow Morgan to return again, albeit in a different role, at some point in the future if she and Y&R so desire.

Farewell to a truly great character in Hilary? Yes. Best wishes are also offered to a consummate actor who earned all accolades she’s received throughout an electric, fully satisfying five-year run.

Money in and of itself is not evil! How you do misquote the Bible! The passage reads: “The LOVE of money is the root of all evil.” BIG difference! It’s written that way, because you’re supposed to love (worship) God not money or things… The rest of what you wrote IS true: She COULD have stayed, but in an era when the actual STARS of the show are taking pay CUTS, this non-star side-character Diva was demanding that her salary go WAY UP… That was simply NOT going to happen! But they’re sure giving her a HUGE send off full of closures and reconciliations and a big character attitude improvement in these final hours… So that’s very nice for her…
