The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Lily's Pressure Doesn't Stop Devon – Baby Factor Overrides Logic

Lily (Christel Khalil) believes her brother is in romantic trouble on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But logical pleas to Devon (Bryton James) won’t sway the emotions he’s being influenced by. Whether ‘Hevon’ is destined to reform is the second question. The first is whether Mr. Hamilton is falling for Hilary (Mishael Morgan) again?

The former Mrs. Hamilton recently decided that she wanted to have a baby. Her attempts at making that happen through cold science led to a revelation. She realized that Devon would be the ideal father of her first-born child.

Hilary offered an unusually honest take to Devon. She actually told her one true love about her baby plans and later was open about never having gotten over him.

Devon initially rejected Hilary’s overture. It’s understandable that he responded defensively. Even his eventual acceptance of paternity remains measured. How many people would have Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) draw up a contract that cites specifics about this entire matter? Well, the former ‘Hevon’ did.

Lily became aware of Devon’s decision at the same time she’d agreed to found a modeling division within the Hamilton Winters Group. Soap fans know that Y&R purposely wrote this trio together in order to increase drama, as no upstart company would be wise to place two people who despise each other in the same office.

How did that work out for Jill (Jess Walton) and then Victoria (Amelia Heinle) where Billy (Jason Thompson) and Cane (Daniel Goddard) were concerned? Yes, a similar scenario is now playing out at HWG.

When Hilary is expecting, the audience will expect an increase in tension. ‘Hevon’ Part I was almost always on edge, so viewers naturally expect all factors surrounding their forthcoming child to create outbursts of tension.

While each half of the likely reforming ‘Hevon’ believes that they are approaching this infinitely important event with logic, human emotions are actually ruling. Lily may not like it, but Hilary and Devon have willingly agreed to connect again. Yes, some people make decisions that others don’t understand.
