The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Mia and Billy Together? – Milly Has Potential

They bumped into each other at Crimson Lights on ‘The Young and the Restless’. A fabled first meeting place in Genoa City, for sure. But fans must now be wondering if Billy’s (Jason Thompson) path-cross with Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) was the start of something? It is reasonable to consider if ‘Milly’ genuine couple’s potential.

How far could Y&R take the Arturo (Jason Canela) and Mia bounce back? Sure, it could happen, but that plot direction would merely extend scenes that have already been playing for a while.

Instead, why not pair one notorious trouble-maker, Billy Abbott, with GC’s latest rabble-rouser, Mia? That fresh (literal and figurative) duo that would be very intriguing, while also causing many resultant personal dramas.

Vickie (Amelia Heinle) might no longer be capable of committing to someone, as Billy said. Hardly his fault alone, Miss Newman continues to reel from the J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) fallout, along with her own hangups about the relationship, many of which are linked back to Thompson’s character.

Mia: “Rey and I are renewing our wedding vows this afternoon, but the ceremony’s not for a few more hours, so if you want to sweep me off my feet…”

So, for all intents and current purposes, the ‘Villy’ reboot appears to be done. And when Billy is single, he is looking.

Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) isn’t yet an option because Nick (Joshua Morrow) hasn’t confirmed that she’s Victor’s (Eric Braeden) framer. When that happens, she’ll be cut loose and available, like Billy.

Meanwhile, Mia’s renewed groom is a poor soul. Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) has truly been resisting the always appealing Sharon (Sharon Case), as he loves Mia and wants to make their marriage work.

As she’s so fond of saying about herself, Mia is impulsive. It’s therefore not really a question of if, but when she pushes Rey’s buttons, or likely crosses a trust line and can’t patch back.

To assume that Rey and Mia will live happily ever after would discount that both characters are living in GC on Y&R. So, they won’t. And when that happens, Rey and Sharon have been established as each other’s next option, with Billy now being added to Mia’s picks.
