The Young And The Restless (Y&R) Spoilers: Nick Ready To Turn On Victor?

The Young And The Restless: Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow)The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is between a rock and a hard place with his father Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) right now. For the most part Nick has been the spawn who is relatively clean, the one who disdains down and dirty tricks to get ahead in life. His siblings Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), not so much.

Has Nick had enough of his father’s manipulations to finally turn on him? Maybe!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nick Newman Is Clean

Nick and Victoria had a nasty altercation with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) in which the Locke Ness Monster was left, erm, incapacitated. Actually, Nick was tussling with him when he fell and both siblings rushed out of the house to call in a favor.

They called their brother-in-law, top cop Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd). Surely they didn’t do so in order to be arrested? And yet when Victor pulled the same kind of strings, all of a sudden Nick is outraged at his mendacity.

Victor has finally admitted to taking Ashland’s body, putting it in his car and crashing it into a ravine in order to deflect heat from his son. Is Nick happy? No, he’s crying a hypocritical river.

Y&R Spoilers – Nick Newman Is A Hypocrite?

Nick is worried that he will be an accessory after the fact based on Victor’s action. Instead of applauding his dad, he is steamed like a cinnamon bun. Is he finally ready to turn on his dear old dad?

He could be if he wants to save his family by confessing to murder. Chance Chancellor is like a dog with a bone right now and it’s the perfect opportunity for self-righteous Nick to walk his talk about being above Newman lowball tactics.
The Young and the Restless spoilers: Will Nick Do The Right Thing?

Then again, Nick has always been willing to look the other way where his sister Victoria is concerned. These two are tight as peas in a pod and he could decide not to squeal if it means saving her from damage. After all, the only reason he went after Ashland was because he was coming after Victoria. It’s a tangled web Y&R fans, tell us if you want Nick to turn on Victor!

I want the characters to stay true to their profile. Nick the loyal protector but suddenly now all over knickers off Sally and has apparently forgotten what she did to his beloved child Summer, great dad! Victor the supposedly intelligent businessman but apparently not intelligent enough to realize reporting an accident is better than turning it into a crime! I could go on but one would have to be as dimwitted as these characters not to get my point. Is no one talented enough to write these characters as their profile suggests instead of keep telling us they are smart for example but then having to write them as idiots. Isn’t there enough talent on the writing team to actually write these characters as intelligent. How are we supposed to believe Victor is this superior businessman with situations like this Ashland fiasco, its pathetic.
