Summer stunned her mother by talking about ‘Phick’s’ supposedly secret recent reconnect. Nick (Joshua Morrow) tried to clamp that loose end down with a check, which continued the unsettling trend of him trying to manipulate family. The Victor (Eric Braeden) doesn’t fall far from the tree, apparently.
Meanwhile, back Phyllisland, Tognoni’s character’s belief that Summer’s arrival back in Genoa City shouldn’t have been welcomed continues. Phyllis will soon find Summer in yet another unusual pose with Billy in the condo where the trio has been coexisting.

Billy is right to have been pushing Summer off. However, he made the classic B-movie character mistake in not immediately telling Phyllis what Summer had done the first time she crossed the line. King’s character’s subsequent, multiple steps over the plot furthered the intended storyline.
However, the suspension of disbelief scenario is accepted. So, it’s reasonable to believe that ‘Billy-boy’, a nickname that aptly applies, would withhold said information from his significant other, as he has. But the suppression is soon to be uncovered and then questioned.
The original image of Phyllis, as first portrayed by Michelle Stafford, was fully self-involved. Her obsession with Danny (Michael Damian) was followed, as recently detailed by Summer, with a marriage to Jack (Peter Bergman), a shift to Nick (Joshua Morrow), creating Summer’s birth, a dalliance with Ronan (Jeff Branson), a return to Jack, and then the Billy-switch.
The idea of Phyllis getting back together with Nick was one Summer never considered and doesn’t want, which feels unusual. However, Summer’s proclaimed feelings caused Phyllis to discover more information about ‘Philly’s’ fragile state and the potential, incredible, but potentially true rise of ‘Silly’.
Yes, the past does repeat, as Phyllis has begun to realize. Thus the setup for an intriguing set of reveals has been established.

PLEASE GET RID OF SUMMER. She is NOT a good actress, NOT a good daughter, & her CONDENSENDING ATTITUDE is HORRIBLE.
