While significant professional progress is currently being made, not one, but two romantic disruptions are impacting Rey’s life.

Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) is a force of nature. Rey’s move from Miami, Florida, to Genoa City, Wisconsin, didn’t put enough distance between this one-time and potential again-couple. Health related issues could be the reason for that reality. Separately, their relationship, whatever it was, might not have been deep enough to create the permanent bond of parenthood.

Meanwhile, it’s fair to think that Rey could easily be distracted from making headway on the J.T. matter, which has moved into a critical stage now that he’s declared the Chancellor Park area a murder site. While he hasn’t confirmed it yet, Sharon is linked to this part of Rey’s life as well.

Kudos to Y&R for crafting a compelling body-missing mystery that has also been purposely crafted to incorporate GC’s newest family, the Rosales’. The blending of drama and romance is surely feeding devoted viewer’s interests.
