Y&R spoilers reveal that Adam has been self-destructing and will continue to do so unless someone does something. Victor having conversations with Adam isn’t going to change anything. When Adam refuses to cooperate, Victor will take drastic action to get his son the help that he desperately needs.

According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Victor will turn to Sharon for help. Due to her profession, she is able to get Adam committed to Fairview. While Victor feels that this is the best move, not everyone else will agree. For one thing, Adam will explode over being locked up in a psychiatric facility, but there is someone else who will be irritated by the extreme measure.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that when Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) finds out what has happened to Adam, she will be furious. Her anger will escalate when she learns that Sharon’s hands are all over this. She feels that Sharon has a hero complex and always has to be the one saving or controlling Adam. However, Sharon has a completely different perspective and feels that she is only doing what is best.
Y&R Spoilers – Showdown And Plot Twist
It is teased that Adam being committed could spark a showdown between Chelsea and Sharon. However, that’s not the only thing to expect in this storyline. Sharon thinks that Adam is going to get better and recover mentally. However, Chelsea might have concerns that Adam’s dark side could erupt. With soaps, there is no telling what is going to happen. Unexpected plot twists take place quite often and keep fans on their toes. So, we expect something surprising to develop in this storyline, as well.

I would like to see Adam benefit from this. It is drastic and a shame Sharon couldn't persuade Adam to seek this treatment without him having to be sectioned. However I hope he responds to treatment and come to see Sharon did it to save him. Please writers for the sake of mental health information make this an informative and positive storyline. I was in a very dark place because of a series of miscarriages this coinsided with Sharon's meltdown and Adam finding her help. I'm sharing this because if this is read by writers I want you to know these stories can resonate with fans and be helpful. I felt isolated during that time and it was extremely difficult to force myself to overcome it. Sharon's story at that time was something I could identify with and I used to watch her desperately wanting her to recover. I was delighted when she overcame her challenging illness learning how to control her condition. Since then I have been such a fan of Sharon's character and the show. It really helped me during my situation. I can only hope that perhaps if Adam can have a similar positive recovery this story could help others too.
Adam has a sensitive soul like his mother Hope, he was that scared little boy after her death. He was her world and she was his. Victor really wanted to be the father he didn't get to be to him. Hope couldn't deal with Victor and his family. She felt his harshness and cruelty was to much for her to bear. She told Victor she didn't want her son to grow up angry and bitter. After hopes death Victor brought Adam home and Adam was never except by his brother and sister. Nicki played a major roll in the way he was treated. They treated Abby the same way for a long time. Nicki would throw the fact that she was the mother of Victors children. She always refer to herself,Victor, Victoria and Nicholas as their family. No one else mattered. She instilled that in her children and they took it to heart especially Victoria. She was always resentful of anyone else becoming a part of their family. They contributed to Adam becoming the way he is,not that he could have chosen to be better,but without Hope unlike Abby who had the Abbott family Adam didn't feel he had anybody until Chelsea.
Hopefully Adam will finally get the help he so desperately needs and deep down wants. He wants to be well and he needs to be loved by his family ..he is just too proud to let them know it because they rejected him right from the start and it starts with Nikki who wouldn't embrace him though she fully expected Victor to embrace her son with Paul who came into their lives as an adult. That whole family needs counselling desperately !
I feel that the right thing was done by committing Adam so he could possibly get the best possible treatment. He has been going off the rails for sometime now. It's time to get himself healed.
