The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Sharon Rightly Concerned – Nick’s History at Newman Checkered

The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Sharon Rightly Concerned – Nick's History at Newman CheckeredSharon (Sharon Case) knows Nick (Joshua Morrow) almost as well as anyone on ‘The Young and the Restless’. The only characters who have deeper connections to him are Victor (Eric Braeden), Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), and Vickie (Amelia Heinle). Considering his checkered history at the family company, Sharon is rightfully concerned that Nick is setting himself up for drama by returning to Newman Enterprises.

They both say that this time will be different. It’s true that Nick and his dad finally were able to regain mutual trust. The aftereffects of the J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) shocker reveal brought this son and father together again.

As for Vickie, she didn’t react the way Sharon expected. After reaching out to Nick’s sister, Sharon heard something unusual. Vickie wanted her brother to return to the fold. She believes Nick’s redux will be beneficial in two ways. First, family healing will be furthered and second, (or is this actually Vickie’s first consideration?) she’ll gain an ally at cutthroat Newman Towers.

‘Shick’ just got back together. Along with that, Sharon doesn’t appear to be considering that exposure of the J.T. coverup could bust this reunion. However, savvy soap fans know that some follow up climax will develop. When, not if, that happens Nick’s reaction surely won’t be measured. So, for the time being, Sharon simply wants ‘Shick’s’ renewed life to be free of other obstacles.

Victor and Nick are fully sincere about their own reunion. Victor deeply values Nick’s loyalty that was evidenced during the coma scare. Morrow’s character was shaken by what happened to his father and has released feelings that began building during the Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) write-out.

Sharon’s thoughts are justified. However, Y&R will likely allow Nick an extended opportunity to get along with Victor and succeed at Newman. Yes, Nick’s history is checkered. But the immediate future will likely involve coming conflict that’s related what happened to J.T. in 2018, instead of what happened between Victor and Nick within the past few years.
