As if Sharon didn’t have enough trouble going on in her family relationships with her new husband Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and her daughter with Nick Newman, (Joshua Morrow) Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind), now something that should have never happened in the first place is viral on social media! Fresh on the heels of having an intense argument over Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) with Rey, he leaves for work rather angry and Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Faith likely overheard parts of it as they came back home from a sisters talk at Crimson Lights.

They had been talking about the intense bullying that Faith had been experiencing at school over the exposé that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) had published about Adam, including his kidnapping of Faith as a baby. The mean girls – and, probably some boys as well – had put two and two together knowing Adam is Faith’s uncle and figured out Faith was the baby and chose the topic to single her out over and exclude her from their clique, which she had formerly been part of. Likely, this is a clique comprised of teenagers from well-to-do families, most of whose parents are likely out of town most of the time with the teens left at home to do as they please! Once Summer leaves and Rey goes to work, there is a short but sweet mother-daughter talk about the Valentine Day’s card that Sharon found on the stairs from Faith. But then Faith picks up her phone and all cyber hell breaks loose!

Y&R Spoilers – The Mean Girls Have Discovered Adam Newman’s And Sharon Rosales’ Secret Kiss And It’s Viral

Faith is shocked when first she gets a text from one of the mean girls – who she should have blocked to begin with – asking if she knew her mother and her uncle were having an affair! Faith seems shocked, although if she is putting on a sweet façade and inwardly angry at her mother as well as Adam, she could have taken the photo herself which shows up next. She had been hiding much of her other behavior and lying about it, especially related to her drinking and now she’s been suspended from school for vodka in her locker. Of course she blames the mean girls. However, even if Faith did take the photo, it’s obvious she did not want anyone else to see it and spread it all over social media! Adam had kissed Sharon at Society, and she had enjoyed it although ashamed of herself afterwards.

The text that Faith received seemed to indicate the photo was on social media and viral! Sharon’s jaw drops as Faith shows it to her and berates her over it – how could she kiss Adam?! Even fourteen year old Faith knows that’s messed up since her mother is barely home from her honeymoon with Rey! Sharon knows that if the photo is on social media and viral then it is only a matter of time before Rey sees it, it is not just a simple matter of one of the girls or boys from Faith’s school taking the photo and attaching it to a text! Sharon doesn’t know what to do – it’s easy to tell it is not photoshopped and it is not something a nosy reporter hoping for a scoop for a rag paper or website would take, thinking to dirty the Newman name! Adam’s name is already dirty enough!
