The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Tessa’s Life In Danger – Sharon Attempts To Confirm Truth

Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) tried to help Crystal (Morgan Obenreder) on ‘The Young and the Restless’. The price she seems to be paying for that involves ongoing threats to her life.

Sharon (Sharon Case) wasn’t sure what to think about Tessa when she returned from Canada. Thoughts about Miss Porter’s truthfulness and the manner in which she was treating Mariah (Camryn Grimes) were natural. Then, physical evidence seemed to suggest that dark forces truly were trying to extort money.

It was an odd, but not unprecedented, circumstance when Tessa suddenly left earlier this summer. She told Mariah that Crystal needed to be relocated to a secure place. Apparently the underground organization that Zack (Ryan Ashton) was part of remained after one of their former, so-called employees.

A later call Mariah received, where Tessa was seemingly interrupted by unknown forces, was cut off. No follow up contact followed, which naturally scared Grimes’ character.

In an odd repeat of history, Tessa called Sharon to ask a question about cleaning materials. Then, mysteriously her call was cut off. Again, some other party, or parties had interrupted Tessa and seemed to be threatening her.

Different than the recent past, Sharon was able to go to Tessa. Upon arriving at Crimson Lights, Case’s character found skin bruises on her coffee-serving barista. That was proof that Tessa had actually been threatened, right?

Y&R has purposely shaded Tessa’s story in order to inject doubt into viewer’s minds. They don’t know if she’s being truthful about the money coyotes are trying to collect. Their not certain if Tessa’s life is actually in danger because the claimed culprits faces have never been seen.

An age-old cry-wolf story is being told. Because Tessa wasn’t direct in the past, which includes having stolen Mariah’s journal words for a song, among other plot points, Sharon and the viewers have retained doubt.

Current developments could mean that Tessa set up said scenario to sway Sharon’s opinion. Then again, Tessa’s life might really be in danger. Soon, all Genoa City residents who are involved and devoted fans will know whether a tale is being told, or not.
