Y&R spoilers reveal that Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) is thrilled to have her family back. After months of Chance being MIA and then being presumed dead, Abby found Chance and brought him home.

As Victor and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) plan a homecoming party, Chance is filled with anxiety. Chance has survivor’s guilt and isn’t ready to face people yet. However, he knows how much this means to Abby, so he tries to keep his turmoil and struggle a secret.

In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, Ordway mentioned that Abby knows something isn’t right with Chance. However, her way of dealing with it is to ignore those feelings. This might prove to be a big mistake as the party gets underway. On Monday’s episode, something could happen at the party that will force everyone to see just how much Chance is struggling.

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday reveal that Victor and Ashley agree to a new game plan. This is further indication that they become aware of Chance’s internal war. Ashley was in Spain when Chance lashed out at Abby. So, Ashley already had a clue that Chance would have a hard time dealing with his trauma. Ashley likely informs Victor of what she observed. However, what exactly is their new game plan and how will Chance react?

Y&R Spoilers – Nick Newman Struggles

On Tuesday’s episode, fans can also expect Nick to struggle with being an outsider with his family. Nick was never told that Chance was found alive or that there was going to be a homecoming party. The situation gets worse after Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) walked in as Nick threatened Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi). With the holidays coming up, can Nikki mend her broken family?

It is teased that Nikki will encourage Victor and Nick to patch things up. However, that might be easier said than done, especially with everything else going on with Victoria, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). So, we will have to see how the bidding war over ChancComm complicates the existing issues within the Newman family.

      Nick needs to be put back with the one that can save him{Sharon}. She is the only one that can, know matter what happened to them they will always be connected. Time to fix their family back like it use to be. She will stand by him if you just give them another chance to be together. Breaking them up has not proved anything. It is time to bring them and their kids like they use to be. A Family. Wipe the slate clean for them. No more Adam,Phyllis,Chelsa,Rey,Grace and anyone else. Just Nick,Sharon,Noah,Summer,Miriah,Faith and Christain. Nikki has her work cut out for her. And thanks for Nikki putting Phyllis in her place. Move to the country, plant a garden watch the deer roam, starry nites and camp fires, even hay rides. That is what you call fun in the country.

      It's not the meddling in-laws place to put their heads together and fix Chance! Any concerns they have should be referred to Nina and Jill to handle. Victor and Ashley can't even encourage nitwit Abby to use a few brain cells, so they have no business trying to handle someone as traumatized as Chance. And trying to bring Abby back to an intelligent character by having supporting characters pay lipservice calling her intelligent is just ridiculous, viewers aren't idiots we've just wasted a year of our lives watching this bimbo character sniveling through almost every episode, depressing us with her tedious childish blubbering. Having Victor and Ashley etc pat her on the back doesn't wash. The best thing for Chances character is to hopeful move away from Abby, she'll just kill any interest in his characters journey.
