The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman Never Has Liked Billy Abbott

Longtime viewers of The Young and The Restless will remember that Victor never has liked Billy. He was very relieved when the marriage between Billy, who he calls “Billy Boy” and his daughter Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) dissolved. Victoria and Billy’s children spend a great deal of time over at the Newman Ranch, and Victor thinks that’s just fine. He likes to keep a watchful, and sometimes controlling, presence where his family is concerned. Lately, however, now that Billy is involved with Lily Winters, (Christel Khalil) he has noticed that Victoria seems to be going out of her way to have contact with Billy Boy!

Many times she even uses the children, Johnny Newman (Holden and Ryan Hare) and Katie Newman (Sienna Mercury) in her plans, always insisting that the children have family outings with both her and Billy present even though most divorced parents with shared custody split it up! This could be very confusing for children of divorced parents, and cause them to want their parents to remarry and try to influence them to do so. Viewers will recall in a recent episode that Victoria was rather uncomfortable that Johnny and Katie seemed to be bonding with Lily. Victor has been sitting back and noticing Victoria’s insisting on all the togetherness and suspects Victoria wants Billy back and is trying to come between him and Lily!

Y&R Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman Sits Victoria Newman Down For An Important Talk

Victor decides that it’s time he intervenes in the situation that he perceives is unfolding before his eyes. The last thing his daughter needs is to reconcile with that scoundrel Billy! Victor may have to wrangle her into the meeting by hook and crook, telling her he wants to talk to her about Newman Enterprises! After all, she has been so wrapped up so ruthlessly in her job as CEO that her mother, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) has been trying to convince her to take a vacation with her and to get some rest! Unfortunately, however, their trip to Hawaii got cancelled due to the winter storm in Genoa City!

Victor remembers all the times Billy Boy Abbott let Victoria down. He has hurt her time and time again, but he can tell she is looking at him with longing eyes – now that he’s moved on with someone else! Victor wouldn’t even allow him around her after she was injured by Amanda Sinclair’s (Mishael Morgan) stalker Ripley Turner (Christian Keyes)! True, it was Billy who came to Victoria’s aid first, and he did manage to sneak in to see her a few times in the hospital, but Victor didn’t like it. And when he was accused of the shooting of Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) who jumped in the way of a bullet meant for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) Victor wasn’t surprised. He thinks that poorly of Billy!

Victor sits his daughter down and he doesn’t mince words when he wants to know what all these family outings are about. He understands the children wanting to spend time with their dad, and that’s fine. Billy can come spend time with them at Newman Ranch. Victoria doesn’t have to be at the visits, and she sure doesn’t have to make it like one big happy family; that could confuse the children! Victoria, however says she can handle her own children and family outings, and Billy!
