The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers say that in Genoa City, Wisconsin even though they have every reason not to trust each other – especially with everything that has happened in the past – it seems like Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is willing to forgive and forget when it comes to his wayward but also prodigal son, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman Wants To Build His Empire With Adam Newman
In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, The Young and the Restless Co-Executive Producer and Head Writer Josh Griffith previews everything that fans can expect to see in this fictional town of Genoa City. And from what we know so far, Victor is going to try to turn his wrongs into rights by first aligning things with his son, Adam.
Griffith offers, “Victor will use the new year as an opportunity to build his empire and bring Adam into the gold. Victor’s efforts to bond with Adam will ignite the infamous sibling rivalry of the Newman families.”
Of course, many The Young and the Restless viewers will say that they’ve seen all of this happen before. But this time around, things will be different. That’s because Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) has her mind on other things, as she is too concerned about what is going on between her ex Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christhel Khalil). For Victoria, things are going to get more than personal when she realizes that Billy is getting very serious with the new woman in his life.

Griffith continues, “Victoria will struggle with Billy and Lily’s growing relationship. Expect major conflict when Billy decides to introduce Lily to the kids as his new significant other.”

I would love to see Adam and Victor bond in a good way. Drastic things have to happen in that Newman family in order for them to appreciate one another. They think they are untouchable. One idea for this to happen is: First Adam Newman needs to save Faith from destruction of herself. Maybe a car wreck so Adam can find her and take her to the hospital so Nick can see that Adam is not a bad person. Second, if Nick could stay out the bed with Phyllis long enough he could see what Faith is up too. He needs to find out about Billy and Summer. Also let there be a brother for Melissa that is the same age as Adam that can be responsible for Delia's death. Actually Billy is responsible because he left the child in the car with a dog (of course children will take care of their animals).
Plus I remember Victoria making the call to Billy about some ice cream, she could have call the grocery and had it delivered herself. That Newman family need a taste of common sense reality.
I agree with you all the way. I do not remember anyone ever mentioning Victoria's part in the accident. If she had never called about ice cream Billy would have not stopped, not excusing him from leaving Delia in the car alone at night.
It is time for Victor and Adam to make up. Adam is much smarter than Nick and Victoria, plus dumb Nick has no interest in the family business. He has one thing on his mind and that is hoping in bed with Phyllis. Writers, do you not think that is enough of those two over and over again? We really do as your fans. Victoria is slowly having a melt down, it is time Victor take notice and take back control. Her mind is more on Billy than the company and her other brother has not interest in the company. Give Adam a chance. Does not matter if Victoria and Nick like it or not. Victor should have conditions and keep a very close eye on Adam, just in case.
