Yet, as CBS soap opera fans know, the wedding won’t be without drama. There’s going be interruptions during the ceremony, so who or what will cause the wedding to come to an abrupt halt.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman Lurks In The Shadows
Spoilers for the Shey wedding imply that there will be one uninvited guest. Sharon’s ex Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will be watching from the entranceway. In recent months, the show appeared to be hinting at a potential Shadam reunion.
Adam declared his love for Sharon, and she even admitted her feelings towards him. However, Sharon knows that Adam’s no good for her, and she’s better off without Rey. Even though Sharon is marrying Rey, and Adam’s staying with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), the love they have for each other isn’t going away.

Adam’s presence could stir up Sharon’s old feelings and make her realize she’s making a mistake marrying Rey. Or Adam could disrupt the ceremony declaring his love for Sharon, and begging her not to go through with the marriage.
Y&R Spoilers – Faith Newman Gets Into Trouble
Sharon’s daughter Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) has been going through a difficult time. After Billy Newman’s (Jason Thompson) article revealed Adam switched Faith at birth, the teen girl’s life has been spiraling out of control.
Under the influence of her friend Jordan (Madison Thompson), Faith has been drinking. Of course her Sharon and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) know and are upset about their daughter’s behavior. They’re trying to help Faith, yet what they don’t know is she’s continuing to act out.
Faith’s battle with the bottle will continue to be a huge problem, and odds are an incident will occur at the wedding, exposing Faith’s underage drinking.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Rey Rosales ’s Work Interferes
Another possible scenario for a wedding interruption has to do with Rey’s work. Recently, Rey was working on the case involving Adam’s shooting, in which Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) was injured.
After finding evidence to prove Billy was innocent, Rey then arrested Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico). It looks like the case is finally solved and everyone can go back to their normal lives.
However, there could be a plot twist coming up. Scenario number one could have Rey discovering new evidence that shows someone else is the shooter. Someone close to Sharon. Rey having a job to do will arrest the person, leaving a furious Sharon to call off the wedding.
The second scenario involves Alyssa escaping from jail, hellbent on revenge. Upon discovering Adam at the wedding, chaos will ensue. Rey or Sharon will step in to stop them, but end up injured at the hands of Alyssa. No matter what happens, Sharon and Rey’s wedding isn’t going off without a hitch.
