The Young And The Restless (Y&R) Spoilers: Will Kyle And Summer’s Love Survive Tara?

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) said best. She told Summer Newman (Hunter King) that Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) initial contact sparked the drama they’re all in.

But Tara didn’t have to give into Kyle’s advances in New York. She did and that apparently led to Harrison Locke’s (no actor is known to be cast for this role) birth.

Summer isn’t bothered by Kyle and Tara being together in the past. While she thinks it was wrong for them to betray Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi), that connection happened while Skyle wasn’t together. However, Harrison’s paternity is an issue that can affect a number of people and has already damaged Jabot. That naturally bothers Summer, as does the trust Kyle has in Tara.

The only time Ashland broke from his robotic demeanor was when he spoke about Harrison. His face lit up, as any proud father would.

Sure, Ashland’s connection to his real or perceived son is partially due to the mini-me factor. He’s his heir and represents a hopeful future.

In business, Ashland is thought of as a man-eating shark. He both embodies and embraces that reputation, as Kyle and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) have come to learn through Jabot’s plants being sabotaged on Ashland’s orders.

Y&R Spoilers – Kyle Abbott Protecting Loved Ones As Well

Kyle and Ashland are protecting their loved ones, though it doesn’t look that way from the perspective each person has. Kyle didn’t want his fiance or father to know about the Harrison rumor in case it wasn’t true. Jack still isn’t aware that he might have become a grandfather more than three years ago.

Ashland has treated his wife well, according to Tara. He adores their son, which is what any normal father would do.

Mealor’s character recognizes what will happen if Harrison is conclusively proven to be an Abbott. Ashland will be humiliated and seek revenge that will likely go far beyond what he’s done to Jabot, which seems to be based purely on his belief that Kyle and Tara were together a handful of years ago in New York.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Summer Newman Is Vulnerable

Summer has compartmentalized or rationalized the Tara threat. King’s character and Kyle have recently recommitted to each other and plan to marry when the winds of drama stop blowing.

But Summer is vulnerable, as she knows that whatever connection Kyle and Tara had will persist if Harrison is blood. Plus, any end to Tara’s marriage means that she will be available.

Kyle knows that he can’t control what will come next. But he knows that he loves Summer and that they need to know if he’s a father. If so, then he wants the Skyle family to form.
