Vivica A. Fox & Shemar Moore Slated For Young And The Restless Return

The Young and the Restless spoilers note some exciting news on the horizon as alumni Vivica A. Fox and Shemar Moore are slated to return to the CBS soap very soon.

What brings the twosome back to their hometown? CTS has all the details down below!

The Who, What, Where & How

Fox and Moore began filming on the soap’s set on Tuesday, February 17, which means that their scenes will air in April.

Moore and Fox will reprise their Malcom Winters and Stephanie Simmons characters and are scheduled for a multi-episode storyline.

Moore hasn’t been in Genoa City since 2023, when he returned for the Y&R’s 50^th anniversary. Meanwhile, it’s been over three decades since Fox appeared on the daytime drama.

The Malcolm-Stephanie Connection

Moore’s original Young and the Restless run was from 1994 to 2005. He did return for a short stint in 2014, and for Kristoff St. John’s tribute episode, as Moore played Neil Winters younger brother.

With that said, Fox played Dr. Stephanie Simmons, a colleague of Dr. Olivia Winters (Tonya Lee Williams) from 1994 to 1995.

While Malcolm and Stephanie did share a romance back in the day, the good doctor’s demanding career created an obstacle for the two’s romance, and she eventually left town.

Will they return to Genoa City as an item? Only time will tell.

Fox and Moore haven’t only worked on the Y&R together, they also starred in the 2004 film, “Motives”.

Moore’s character in the flick cheats on his wife (played by Fox), which leads to blackmail and then a murder case – so these two are no strangers to onscreen drama.

Shemar is currently busy with the new spin-off, “S.W.A.T. Exiles” from the CBS drama, which he starred in for eight seasons, “S.W.A.T”. Meanwhile, Fox is starring in the MGM/Amazon feature flick, Is God Is, which will be released in May.
