The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Who Used To Play Character?

Y&R spoilers reveal that Floyd only recently began playing Chance. Before Floyd, there are several actors who played the Genoa City resident. In 1988, Andrew Clark Rogers began playing the character. After Rogers, the character was portrayed by Chuckie and Kenny Gravino, Scott and Shaun Markley, Thomas Dekker, Cortland Mead as well as Alex D. Lind.

In 1996, Nicholas Pappone took over the role followed by Penn Badgley, John Driscoll and Danny Boaz. In 2020, Justin Gaston temporarily played Chance. Floyd didn’t come on board until 2021.

Y&R Spoilers – Chance Chancellor Went MIA

After Boaz suddenly vanished, the writers had to find a way to explain Chance’s absence from the soap. Chance went on an undercover operation right after marrying Abby. Despite Chance not being in town, Abby went ahead and made the arrangements to have a baby.

As fans recall, Devon Hamilton (Bryton) and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) helped give “Chabby” a baby. Of course, that was full of drama! Then, Abby was told that the safehouse was bombed and Chance was presumed dead. Abby disappeared one day and eventually found Chance. Now that Chance is home, he is going through PTSD and finally getting counseling for it.
