The Young And The Restless Spoilers – A Genoa City Trouble Couple In The Making
Things were getting stale for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). The back and forth between Sharon (Sharon Case) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) since his most recent return from the dead was getting old fast. There was just no chemistry between this version of Adam and Chelsea and that is nothing against the actors. While there was chemistry between Adam and Sharon, as the actors are dating in real life, Adam was nothing but toxic for her every time she ever gave it a try. While Rey is probably not her best match, neither was Adam.
As for Sally Spectra The Younger (Courtney Hope), if you didn’t watch The Bold and the Beautiful, then you didn’t know much about her except the bad stuff that Summer (Hunter King) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) dug up. There were more layers to the character in LA and we learned how she could love deeply and hurt deeply. Even so, her manipulative side remained and in a way she reminds us of a younger Phyllis Summers, which is probably why the two women loathe each other so much. Sally deserves a love interest who makes sense and not one old enough to be her father, while Adam deserves someone he can cause trouble with who is not Chelsea.
Y&R Spoilers – Sally Spectra And Adam Newman Can Be A Superstar Pair
We want to see more of what Sally and Adam can do to shake things up in Genoa City, and that town really needs to be shaken up. Being an age-appropriate pairing with two very talented actors is always an added bonus.
Working together in business can pit Sally and Adam up against the Abbotts, who now can’t stand her, while they can also give Victor (Eric Braeden) a run for his money. He finally has the relationship with Adam that he wants, but he might not like his son on the arm of a woman he didn’t hand pick. Then again, we can see him being amused by Sally, something Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) would not like at all. After so long of nothing happening on Y&R, a new pairing with potential may be just what this show needs to make things interesting again. I don't like Sally's character. I would rather the writers came up with someone original, not just another Phyllis. No effort, can't be bothered to create a fresh new character just a younger version of the old dragon Phyllis… boring.
I think Adam should do an article on Sally when Bill Spencer tried to kill her and his son, Liam in a fire. I would love to see Sally finally make something good of herself. She come from a family of schemers and it's time for a new start. This fighting with Phyllis is so stupid and childish. Let Sally's fashion designs speak for her. We know Genoa City could use fashion designer, the clothes that Phyllis, Sharon and rest are wearing are for middle and high school girls.
Why can’t they let Adam be in a good relationship; instead of being involved with another Chelsea? He’s making great changes, and she isn’t one of them! She’s so pushy it makes me nauseous.
