Young And The Restless Spoilers: Lily Winters (Christel Khalil)Christel Khalil will be reprising her role as Lily Ashby on “The Young and the Restless.” Her return date will be on October 25. What will her character’s reaction be when she comes face to face with Hilary Hamilton’s (Mishael Morgan) doppelganger?

Aside from familiar ones, new faces will also appear in Genoa City this fall. Mary Margaret Lewis is heading to “The Young and the Restless” as Doris Tillington on Oct. 28. She’ll be a family friend of the Abbotts and her appearance on the show may have something to do with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Traci Abbott’s (Beth Maitland) latest project.

This is not Lewis’ first stint on the show. She first appeared back in 1986 as Nurse Evans for seven episodes. Long-time viewers will recognize her face not only from “The Young and the Restless” but also from “Life In Pieces” where she guest-starred for one episode.

Nobody knows who’ll get tangled up with his new storyline but his presence will surely stir up some drama in Genoa City. He is set to be part of a multi-episode arc.

Parise shared his upcoming stint on the show on Instagram and co-star Tracey Bregman was quick to comment. She said: “Welcome to the show, Jeff!”

Others also chimed in and said they plan to begin watching the show once he makes his debut on his new role. For now, the show is keeping his storyline under wraps so viewers have to stay tuned.

No offense but I don’t see the point in bringing Lilly back. Lilly and Canes stories were boring the last time. These writers are not cutting it writing for the more interesting characters and their lives. The writers don’t need to be getting sidetracked with stories/characters that have previously been uninteresting with what would appear were written by better writers who couldn’t make their stories work. I don’t intend to be rude I am just being honest.

Focus should be on Victor and immediate family. Devon, Jack and Sharon. All of these require better stories.

Suspend the following characters until the above can be accomplished Chloe, Kevin, Cane and Lilly these people repeatedly have superficial and often inane stories and are not required unless a story can merit them without becoming silly.

Characters that are currently struggling but are mainstay peripheral actors are Abby, Nat, Elaina these deserve more attention and stories than either Chelsea or Amanda.

Totally agree, not enough focus on the main characters. Bringing more into the mix is just watering everything down to an uninteresting level. The fans aren’t getting anything out of this but feel like a lot of actors are now getting to pick up a paycheck for helping to present weak plots and stories, so very, very disappointing. Fans deserve better.

I miss the days with Jack Abbott and Victor Newman as the Business Super Powers. And I Love that Tracy and Jack have a goal with writing a Book. Tired of all this wishy washy stuff regarding the little kids and their stubborn and disrespectful attitudes towards their Helicopter Parents.

And there needs to be a better script for Sharon. She always has that deer in headlights look. Her love for Adam is getting sickening and she should be doing work with Families and be with Rey again.
Also tired of the Delia Script. Let her character RiP already!
