Viewers know that Sharon was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. It’s a very trying time for her but she will find comfort in Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). She will continue to struggle with her health crisis but she’ll face her fears. She’ll also get a visit from her late daughter Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes) from beyond the grave, which will give her some sense of comfort and peace during this tumultuous time in her life.
The Young and the Restless – For Public Awareness
The sudser wants to bring public awareness about breast cancer. The Young and The Restless has always tackled important social issues within the show’s rich storytelling,” co-executive producer and head writer Josh Griffith said.
“From AIDS and alcoholism to drunk driving and domestic abuse, we’ve consistently tried to focus on the human condition in an open and honest manner,” he continued.
“We’re proud to be joining with the American Cancer Society to deliver this important message about breast cancer awareness,” he added.

Reaching more than 175 million viewers per year, CBS Cares tackled relevant issues like Alzheimer’s disease, autism, bipolar disorder, depression, diversity/tolerance, drug abuse, empowerment of women and girls, HIV/AIDS, Holocaust remembrance, obesity, post-traumatic stress disorder, schizophrenia, suicide prevention, and violence prevention, to name a few.

Spoilers reveal that Newman Enterprises’ 50th-anniversary celebration will kick off on the week of February 10. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will have a surprise guest and viewers have to wait and see if it will be Noah Newman (Robert Adamson). But spoilers hint that he’s set to return to offer his support to his mom, Sharon.
Elsewhere, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) won’t back down. Her violent ex-fiance, Ripley Turner (Christian Keyes), will give her a surprise visit and give her some threats. She may be shocked to see him but once she wraps her head around his arrival, she won’t take his threats lightly. She’ll stand up to him, which will irritate Ripley more.
